We offer you a position where for two years you’ll be attached to your respective business as a full-time employee, and on your third year you’ll be enrolled to an online master’s education programme at Danish Technical University while you work 30 hours per week.

This opportunity for students with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, procurement, or construction, is a great chance for those seeking to explore their master’s education in wind energy. Join us in this role where you’ll design the power systems of our offshore wind farms and carry out power system studies to ensure optimised designs and grid code compliance together with bright and passionate colleagues.

You’ll be part of Power Systems Management where you, together with your colleagues, will have a key role in optimising our wind farm designs while pushing the boundaries of what’s technically possible. The department ensures electrical integration of our future offshore wind farms and renewable energy system solutions into an increasing number of markets worldwide. As a team, we are highly diverse and characterised by an open, friendly, and welcoming team comprising more than 80 highly skilled engineers working across the globe

You’ll play an important role in:

  • designing and developing concepts for the overall electrical power transmission system from the onshore substation to the wind turbine generator
  • performing power system design and compliance studies on the wind farm, incl. power flow, voltage control, dynamic analysis, fault ride through, stability, and harmonic studies
  • participating in relevant project meetings and cooperating with other team members on shared issues
  • contributing to the continuous development of tools, methods, and processes to keep our electrical system design machine moving smoothly
  • handling project tasks, such as optimisation and cost benefit analyses, support of decision processes, and documenting the technical solutions and analyses.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, preferably with background in power system engineering
  • have basic knowledge of power system fundamentals, modelling, analysis, or control
  • can speak and write English fluently, enabling collaboration and communication globally
  • have an interest in and energy to learn and develop approaches with new software, technical tools, automation, ways of working etc.
