Senior Project Controller

The Baltica 2 project, a joint venture between PGE and Ørsted, is in its early construction phase and aims for completion by the end of 2027. This is your opportunity to be part of a transformative project shaping Poland’s energy future. You’ll contribute to the success of a landmark renewable energy initiative while building expertise in project financial management.

Welcome to Project Financial Management
You’ll be part of Integrated Project Team where you, together with your colleagues, will take charge of managing project finances in alignment with the agreed partnership agreements. Provide financial insights through forecasting, analysis, and reporting to optimize financial performance. Partner with relevant project stakeholders, including suppliers and other external parties, to ensure alignment and efficiency.

As a team, we continuously develop our professional skills while contributing to the financial work stream of a groundbreaking green energy project.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • facilitating timely budgeting and cash flow updates to secure financial control
  • providing monthly reporting to project stakeholders and SteerCo to support decision making and financial insights
  • preparing scenario and sensitivity planning
  • partnering with internal project and joint venture stakeholders
  • collaboration with colleagues across our global Finance Functions.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or similar, combined with relevant work experience from the energy industry, construction projects, or infrastructure markets, preferably renewable energy
  • have relevant experience working in a dynamic finance department, preferably in an international company
  • have experience in dealing with controlling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and have an interest in IT systems to help develop new reports that provide more dynamic analyses, preferably with experience with SAP and Microsoft Power BI
  • are curious and have a proactive mindset with a passion for making an impact.
