Application Architect (ServiceNow)

Welcome to Application Operation Competency Centre 
You’ll be part of the company’s in-house ServiceNow team (Global ServiceNow Management) where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for ensuring both stable operations and continuous development of the platform to enable the full potential of ServiceNow. You’ll act as application architect and developer, which means that you’ll be involved in sparring and discussion with end-users, designing best practice solutions, creating requirements specifications, and, in general, shaping and optimising the daily operations in the company through ServiceNow. All of this within an agile team in Ørsted IT.  


You’ll play an important role in:  

  • operating, developing, and optimising the ServiceNow platform in the company, based on best practices 

  • engaging in dialogue with businesses to understand objectives, discussing technical possibilities and solution design, and creating requirements specifications 

  • designing and leading automated workflows using REST API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ATF, and Workflow Editor in line with established standards 

  • leading the implementation and enablement of solutions, including but not limited to process automation workflows and integrations with related components (e.g. Azure, SAP, CMDB, LDAP, web services, etc.) 

  • working with the product owner, scrum master, and other cross-functional stakeholders to guide, co-define, estimate, and prioritise development tasks 

  • creating and maintaining technical design documents. 


To succeed in the role, you:  

  • speak and write English fluently 

  • are a team player with a customer and result-oriented mindset 

  • have experience with ITSM modules on processes like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests, Knowledge, Reports, Security Operations and integrations like LDAP, SSO, REST API, and SOAP, etc. 

  • are able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on developing enterprise business solutions for customers.
