Join us in this role where you’ll experience a 10-week immersive summer program designed to strengthen your development through tailored programming focused on three key aspects: exposure to our core business, vision-centred and collaborative experiential learning, and professional development.

Welcome to Operations Engineering
You’ll be part of The Low Voltage and Mechanical Group where you, together with your colleagues, will provide essential technical support on wind turbine blades for both onshore and offshore projects in Region Americas. As a team, we bring our unique skills and expertise to collaboratively design, develop, and maintain technical solutions for our operating assets.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • understanding the importance of wind turbine blade management
  • observing common blade issues and understanding the possible solutions
  • organizing blade data and information as well as support the reporting of this information to key stakeholders
  • developing solutions to improve WTG production, logistics costs, and technician morale
  • standardizing and automating critical information feeds.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • should understand fundamental engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge through hands-on experience and mentorship
  • should be interested in wind turbine technology and in the fundamentals pertinent to blade technology (ex. Vibrations, structures, materials, fatigue, and manufacturing)
  • should have strong data analytics and problem-solving skills
  • are a collaborator who looks forward to taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm. You should have the ability to follow direction, be detail-oriented, and have basic project management skills. Finally, it is always important to work well with a team.
