Our Malaysia office 

Our Malaysia office is part of a global team consisting of Engineering, Procurement, IT, Finance specialists and many more, with more than 750 employees located in our office. Ørsted has been active in Malaysia since 2010 and the office has grown to be part of Ørsted’s global Centre of Excellence. 

Ørsted is a strong, global player in the green energy industry, and our Malaysia office plays a key role in Ørsted’s global processes and development and for our presence in the APAC region. We always need highly qualified professionals with a global mindset to be a part of the green agenda!

Country Manager

Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, Operations, and Digital Innovation
 
In Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, Operations, and Digital Innovation we design and build offshore wind farms globally. We design and build foundations, offshore substations, onshore substations, and electrical transmission systems, we ensure grid compliance, OT security, energy yield assessment, measurements, GIS, documentation, QHSE, and digital tools development, and we procure everything related to this work and much more.
 
In Operations we support the operational sites globally with tactical and strategical asset integrity management, documentation, and digital solutions for optimizing logistics, energy yield, staffing, spare parts, etc.
 
Digital Innovation encompasses two key areas: AI & data science and modelling & optimization. As part of a global network of digital innovators, we develop advanced in-house methods, tools, systems, and software. Our solutions empower Ørsted teams to develop wind farms with maximum efficiency and agility while effectively managing risks. Our business unit comprises talented professionals who collaborate to ensure the effective operation of our green energy farm.
IT

We support Ørsted’s business areas globally with digital solutions. Ørsted Malaysia was established as an IT office in 2009 and we’ve since grown to encompass a wide range of competencies, contributing significantly to the company's operations and growth. Our talents from software engineering, infrastructure, cloud technology, agile delivery, architecture, security, service operations, and management backgrounds work closely with Ørsted colleagues from all other areas to provide efficient business processes. 
Ørsted Business Services 

Ørsted Business Services are responsible for functions that contribute to Ørsted’s targets of cost savings and operational efficiency and cover financial services and people services. We’re responsible for everything from finance to operational activities related our employees, e.g. purchase orders, credit cards and expense reporting, payroll, visas and work permits, time registration, and policies for these areas.
People & Culture

We provide comprehensive support to all Ørsted’s employees by aligning global strategies with local needs. We ensure that employees are empowered to succeed through clear policies, effective mobility programs, and robust compensation and benefit structures. We collaborate closely with HR business partners in Ørsted’s many locations to ensure that our people-related decisions are aligned with business goals and foster a culture of engagement and growth. By integrating People & Culture strategies with regional operations, we aim to elevate the employee experience and drive organizational success.
